The Writers Happiness Movement has created this privacy notice to explain how we use information that you may provide while visiting our website and to demonstrate our firm commitment to internet privacy. We may modify this policy from time to time so we encourage you to check this page when revisiting this website.
How we use your information
The Writers Happiness Movement is committed to protecting your privacy online. When you sign up, donate, nominate a writer for a micro-grant, become a patron, or take any other action on our site, we may ask you to give us contact information, including your name and email address, or that of the writer you are nominating for a micro-grant. In the case of micro-grants, we will also request the writer’s snail mail and email addresses. We use this information to send requested news and information, to award and mail micro-grants, and to let you know of any upcoming programs, events, or activities.
We will never provide your e-mail address or any of your personal information to any other person or organization, for any purpose. If you become a patron or make a donation (thank you!), you may be taken to Patreon.com or another donation site that will ask for your credit card number and its expiration date. That information is used solely for processing your contribution and follows all privacy policies of the third-party site. It is not maintained by The Writers Happiness Movement at any point.

Permission to access your information is granted only to you and organization name employees or contractors who need to know that information to provide services to you. Although we make good faith efforts to store information collected by this website in a secure operating environment, we cannot guarantee complete security.
